WHere is an easy version of a drink from a new drinks list. This is a batch prepared mix that's packed with essence associated with holiday season, making it perfect for hosting a celebration. Save the extra syrup for morning drinks, puddings, or for more rounds of bikinis.

Yields 10 guests
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Premix (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Combine every items inside a saucepan, bring to a light boil, agitating to dissolve. Next, take off the burner allowing it to reach room temperature entirely. Decant into an clean bottle, cap it keeping it in the fridge, where it will keep for about a month.
To make Cocktail Base: Pour all the spirits and syrup into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then filter it best through cheesecloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
To serve: Add 85ml of the cocktail base to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, gently stirring carefully for about 60 seconds to chill. Filter to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, garnish with the cranberries and finish by giving it a brief mist with the mandarin essence above the glass.
